ABOUT ME
Ruby Philip graduated from the University of Toronto with a double major in Neuroscience and Psychology. She went on to complete a Medical Degree in Europe and Chicago. She has applied her skills in various allied health roles such as working in medical insurance, working with children with brain and spinal cord injury, special needs, motor vehicle injury clients and providing respite care for families.
Throughout her undergraduate degree, she maintained volunteer roles such as volunteering at Bloorview Children's Rehabilitation Centre in Toronto. Ruby has extensive experience working with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists and other support workers.
Her background and experience in various specialties during her medical degree has allowed her to gain a comprehensive understanding of client care. She uses this knowledge by sharing concepts to her clients and supporting them on their health journey. Ruby is a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), has been a Claims Adjuster as well as had a career in the Independent Medical Examinations space.
Ruby's family hails from South India and resides in Canada. She sings in the church choir and volunteers at her children's school. She also serves newcomers in her area by helping them build their career, and providing them with the tools needed to navigate the housing market.
Ruby is a busy mom to four kids. In her spare time, she and her husband watch as many Maple Leafs, Raptors and Blue Jays games.
